Growth plan for Frenchie Bulldog, 5 Oct 2026
Scale spend. Hold CAC.
Frenchie Bulldog sells a $4.00 Poo Bag Holder and a $32.99 Duo Reversible Harness. The plan protects one number, a target CAC of $6.24, and uses ten creators and 12–20 new ads a week to find which product opens the first order.

- Target CAC
- $6.24
- New ads a week at peak
- 20
- Creators live by week six
- 10
- Test spend, six weeks
- $24,000

10 chapters, then the gates and every number’s source.
01 The number
One number to protect: $6.24 CAC on a $13 order
The number is a target CAC of $6.24. It is 0.6 of a $10.40 ceiling: a $13 average order, 40% margin and one repeat order. Those inputs are my guesses until your data replaces them in week one. Spend scales only while CAC stays under that line.
Protect
Target CAC: $6.24 on a first purchase
Ceiling = average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders): $13 × 40% × (1 + 1) = $10.40. Guard line = 0.6 × $10.40 = $6.24. Across the ranges: $2.10 to $53.99.
Three moves
- Kill losers early: every ad changes one variable per test, and a loser stops before it eats a second week of the $250 budget.
- Test the $4.00 Poo Bag Holder and the $32.99 Duo Reversible Harness as first-order openers, so I can see which one holds the line.
- Report daily CAC against $6.24, and raise spend on a winner only after it holds that line on real orders.
- Poo Bag Holder sale price, struck from $9.99
- $4.00

02 Variety
Many prints, one harness: variety is Frenchie's edge
Each ad concept has to carry one reason to buy: the print, the fit, the price or the daily walk. Frenchie has Chalk Art, Veggies, Gummies and Galaxy prints on the Duo Reversible Harness, so the product stays fixed while the hook changes.
| Reason to buy | Proof you already have | Ads (proposed) |
|---|---|---|
| Over a decade of know-how | we’ve spent over a decade perfecting the ultimate dog harness and accessories | 4 |
| D-ring for bags or keys | Poop bags or keys? Attach 'em to the D-ring at the base of the handle. | 4 |
| Made around the fit problem | The problem is Dog Harnesses never seem to fit French Bulldogs quite right. | 4 |
| First reversible harness | We’re the creators of the world’s first reversible harness exclusively for small to medium-sized dogs | 3 |
| Cooling bandana | The cooling light mesh fabric will stay ice-cold for as long as it stays wet | 2 |
| Front leash point | featuring a front leash attachment point to keep them on the move | 1 |
| Total | The ad concepts tab | 18 |

Each row is a reason to buy that the brand already has proof for. The count is how many of the ads carry it: a reason with a single ad is a bet, not a pattern, and the next batch of concepts moves toward the reasons that win.
03 Disturbances
Cheap $4.00 bag holders can pull CAC the wrong way
| Disturbance | Likelihood | Impact | Owner | Gate (proposed) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Clearance-priced $4.00 bag holders drag the average order below $13 | High | High | Me | Bag holder share of first orders reported weekly; stop pushing it if blended CAC passes $6.24 |
| Duo Reversible Harness shows $13.20 and $32.99 across prints; an ad can promise the wrong price | Med | High | Your team | Ad price matches its landing page before launch; any mismatch pauses the ad |
| Event tracking is incomplete, so CAC can't be read against $6.24 | Med | High | Your team | Purchase events match store orders before week 1 spend passes $3,000 |
| Creators ship late and the 10 live by week six slips | Med | Med | Both | 2 creators live by week 2; if not, I cut new ad count, not the CAC line |
| Transit of 10-18 business days outside the US sours creator unboxing and repeat orders | Low | Med | Your team | Creator kits go to US addresses with 3-5 business days transit; other addresses are flagged |
| Hit rate runs below the guess, so winners arrive late | Med | High | Me | If no ad holds under $6.24 by day 30, I cut ad count and rework hooks |
| Returns within 30 days eat the margin behind the $10.40 ceiling | Low | Med | Your team | Return rate shared by day 14; if it breaks the 40% margin input, I rebase the ceiling |
Scores are my read from outside the company, re-scored in week one with your data. Each risk has one owner and one gate that can be checked with a number, so nobody has to argue about whether it happened.
04 The ceiling
The $10.40 ceiling is built on guesses until week one
| Line | Value | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Average order | $13 (range $4.00–$39.99) | Assumption Range from the site product prices (Published); the midpoint is a guess |
| Gross margin | 40% (range 35–45%) | Assumption Replace in week one |
| Repeat orders after the first | 1 (range 0.5–2) | Assumption Replace with cohort data in week one |
| Margin per customer, all orders | $10.40 | Calculated Average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders) |
| Guard line for CAC | $6.24 | Calculated 0.6 × the margin per customer |
The math, with the assumed lines
Ceiling = average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders): $13 × 40% × (1 + 1) = $10.40. Guard line = 0.6 × $10.40 = $6.24. Across the ranges: $2.10 to $53.99.
Range across the assumptions: $2 to $54.
The $10.40 ceiling is a $13 order, 40% margin and one repeat order: all guesses. The $6.24 guard line is 0.6 of it. Week one replaces them with your store data.
The ceiling is a range, not one number: the most a new customer can cost before shipping and packaging, which I do not have. Replace the guessed lines with yours and every figure below recalculates.
05 Test ramp
Six weeks, $24,000 of tests across the Frenchie range
| Week | New ads × budget / ad (proposed) | Weekly test spend | Cumulative | Creators posting | CAC target (proposed) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 12 × $250 | $3,000 | $3,000 | 0 | $6 |
| 2 | 12 × $250 | $3,000 | $6,000 | 2 | $6 |
| 3 | 12–20 × $250 | $4,000 | $10,000 | 4 | $6 |
| 4 | 12–20 × $250 | $4,000 | $14,000 | 6 | $6 |
| 5 | 20 × $250 | $5,000 | $19,000 | 8 | $6 |
| 6 | 20 × $250 | $5,000 | $24,000 | 10 | $6 |
Six weeks, Proposed. Weeks 1 and 2 run 12 ads at $250 each, $3,000 a week. Weeks 3 and 4 run 12–20 ads, $4,000 a week. Weeks 5 and 6 run 20 ads, $5,000 a week. Total $24,000 of tests, $6,000 cumulative by week 2.
The math. Week 1: 12 × $250 = $3,000; Week 2: 12 × $250 = $3,000; Week 3: 16 × $250 = $4,000; Week 4: 16 × $250 = $4,000; Week 5: 20 × $250 = $5,000; Week 6: 20 × $250 = $5,000. Total $24,000 (96 ads × $250). A range such as 12–20 counts as its midpoint.
Weeks one and two test what the brand already has, rewritten per reason to buy. From week three, creator videos enter paid only after they beat their own account median. A range of new ads counts as its midpoint in the spend column.
06 Volume
More concepts, more winners: from 20 to 80 concepts
More concepts means more winners. As a guess: 20 concepts give 2 winners and $18,000 added a month; 80 concepts give 8 winners and $72,000. Hit rate and spend per winner are guesses, not Frenchie data.
| Concepts tested / month | Hit rate (assumed) | New winners / month | Spend each winner holds (assumed) | Added spend at target CAC |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20 | 10% | 2 | $300 / day | $18,000 / month |
| 40 | 10% | 4 | $300 / day | $36,000 / month |
| 60 | 10% | 6 | $300 / day | $54,000 / month |
| 80 | 10% | 8 | $300 / day | $72,000 / month |
The math. 20 concepts × 10% = 2 winners × $300 × 30 days = $18,000 a month; 40 concepts × 10% = 4 winners × $300 × 30 days = $36,000 a month; 60 concepts × 10% = 6 winners × $300 × 30 days = $54,000 a month; 80 concepts × 10% = 8 winners × $300 × 30 days = $72,000 a month.
The hit rate and the spend each winner holds are placeholders. The first thirty days of tests replace them with real numbers, and the table is recalculated the same day.
07 Allocation
The $100,000 follows winners, not the $32.99 harness by default
- Scaling winners on Meta
- $50,000
- 50%
- Test ramp: new concepts and hooks
- $24,000
- 24%
- Creator pay and product seeding
- $16,000
- 16%
- Landing pages and tracking fixes
- $10,000
- 10%
Out of $100,000, Proposed. The split moves toward whichever Frenchie product holds $6.24 CAC; the test ramp stays near the $24,000 plan.
The math. 50% × $100,000 = $50,000; 24% × $100,000 = $24,000; 16% × $100,000 = $16,000; 10% × $100,000 = $10,000. Sum 100% = $100,000.
This split is a proposal. It moves toward scaling as winners prove out, and toward testing when fatigue shows.
08 Channels
Meta first, then channels the Frenchie prints can earn
| Channel | Open when (proposed) | Why wait |
|---|---|---|
| Meta | Week 1, with the first 12 ads | Harness prints suit a feed ad, and a paid test reads fast against $6.24 CAC |
| TikTok | Once creators are live and a hook beats the guard line | Dog-walk videos fit a Duo Reversible Harness or a Cooling Bandana |
| Instagram Reels | Once creators post, reusing their cuts | Same creator videos, extra placements for the Chalk Art print |
| Email flows | When store data shows repeat orders | Payback needs a second order, and a $4.00 Poo Bag Holder is a natural follow-up |
| Google search | Only after Meta holds $6.24 CAC | Site copy names Boston Terrier and Pug owners, so small-breed searches are worth a test |
A channel opens when its condition is true, not when the calendar says so. Until then the budget stays where the CAC is earned.
09 Payback
At $15 CAC a Frenchie order never pays back
CAC $5 pays back on the first order with $5.40 left. CAC $10 pays back only after repeat orders, with $0.40 left. CAC $15 never pays back, at −$4.60, and CAC $20 sits at −$9.60. So any ad above the $10.40 ceiling gets stopped.
Cumulative margin per customer, order by order, before CAC: $5.20, $10.40.
| CAC (scenario) | First-order margin | Year-one margin | Left after CAC | Payback |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $5 | $5.20 | $10.40 | $5.40 | First order |
| $10 | $5.20 | $10.40 | $0.40 | After repeat orders |
| $15 | $5.20 | $10.40 | −$4.60 | Never: stop |
| $20 | $5.20 | $10.40 | −$9.60 | Never: stop |
The math. CAC $5: $10.40 − $5 = $5.40 left; pays back: First order; CAC $10: $10.40 − $10 = $0.40 left; pays back: After repeat orders; CAC $15: $10.40 − $15 = −$4.60 left; pays back: Never: stop; CAC $20: $10.40 − $20 = −$9.60 left; pays back: Never: stop.
Read each row left to right: the margin of the first purchase, the margin over the whole horizon, what is left after CAC, and the purchase on which the CAC is earned back. A scenario that never pays back is a stop, not a test.
10 Scope
Scope: ads, creators and tests, not the Frenchie store itself
Covers
- Meta ad concepts, test design and daily CAC reporting
- Creator briefs and a hook library across the Frenchie prints
- Landing page tests for harnesses, bandanas and bag holders
- Weekly learnings and monthly cohort payback
Doesn’t
- Event tracking build: I spec it, your team ships it
- Product, pricing and sale decisions on the Frenchie store
- Fulfilment, returns and customer service
- Anything about your current ads, which I haven't seen
What this plan covers is what I can change inside the ad account and the creator program. Everything outside it is named on the right so nobody assumes it is handled.
Gates, written before spend, so stopping isn’t a negotiation.
| Day | Keep going if (proposed) | Stop or change if |
|---|---|---|
| Day 14 | Tracking matches store orders and $6,000 of spend produced a readable CAC for each ad | Purchase events still disagree with store orders |
| Day 30 | At least one ad holds CAC at or under $6.24 on real spend | No ad under $10.40 after $14,000 of tests |
| Day 60 | Blended CAC holds $6.24 while spend rises and 10 creators are live | Blended CAC stays above $10.40 for two weeks |
| Day 90 | Cohort payback shows repeat orders closing the gap under the $10.40 ceiling | Cohorts show CAC at $15 or more with no repeat orders |
Each gate is checked on its day with the numbers in the daily and weekly reports. If the stop condition is true, the spend stops and nothing renews until we talk.
What exists, what’s missing, and the order that’s forced.
| Piece | Exists today | Missing | Forced order |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creative | Duo Reversible Harness in prints like Chalk Art and Galaxy | A hook library tied to each print | 1st |
| Creators | Cooling Bandana at $7.99 and Poo Bag Holder at $4.00 to seed | Ten creators briefed by dog type | 2nd |
| Claims sheet | Site copy: custom designed for French Bulldogs | Approved claims list for ads and creators | Week 1 |
| Landing pages | Duo Harness $32.99, Comfort Leash $17.99 on the store | One page per angle, matching the ad price | 2nd |
| Reporting | Return window of 30 days to factor into payback | Daily CAC, weekly learnings, monthly cohort payback | Week 1 |
The order is forced on purpose: creative and creators come first because they are what moves CAC, and everything else waits for that data.

Month one is where it starts.
Week one: I spec the tracking events with your team, brief the first two creators, and launch 12 ads at $250 each on Meta, built from Chalk Art and Veggies harness prints. Daily CAC is reported against $6.24 from the first day.
